Well, technically they went last year, but were much easier to take care of in their little cocoon!  They did pretty well.  They loved swimming in the lake, playing in the grass and just hanging out. The consensus is to get tubes in both ears. My babies are growing so fast!Megan and Lucas continue to move more and more each day. Crawling is 100% mastered. They can pull themselves up on just about anything, even things without anything to grab on, like the sliding glass door. Megan still only has 2, but drool and has a runny nose like a faucet like she will have more any day!Lucas has recently expanded his razzberry skills.  Until yesterday, he would just spit and make the noises.  Now he has figured out hoe to do it on things.  Mostly he will do them on your arm, but today he did it on the tile floor! They continue to roll over, and Megan has mastered it with great ease! He was veryy fussy and was up like a seal on his hands.  Before I knew it he was on his back!  He did it again the next morning for Nate.  Megan couldn't let her brother out-do her and rolled from her belly to her back as well!  They are only 12 weeks old!! They both are doing well and have regained their birth weights....and then some!  Megan now weights 6lbs 5oz and Lucas is 7lbs 2oz.  Lucas also grew 3/4 in taller!  I think he's gonna be a big boy!Things otherwise are going well. The "feeding frenzy" that they said would happen seemed to have begun. We......well, mostly me, were up every 2 hours or so. Mostly it was to feed, but some times, Lucas was just not happy. He is rather congested nasally, likely from his initial birth issues, but also, I think his man parts we so sensitive that every time he peed, he was in pain. We were awoken early at 6:30 to blood draws and immunizations for the babies. They both did very well. Mom also got her TdAP vaccine too. Daddy will have to get one too! Shortly after, Megan and Lucas got to met their Great-Uncle Buddy. They slept through most of the visit, but it was a good one. Apparently they had 3-D before, but this one is new and fancier.  I was game.  Check out the pics.  They are amazing!!!  unfortunately they didn't zoom as well on the boy, but they are still great! In fact......we are expecting TWINS!  2 parakeets instead of 3!!!The heartbeat was able to be seen (not heard yet) on both babies and all looks good.  We go back for an other ultrasound in 3 weeks.  I am still having to take the progesterone shots for two more weeks and the estrogen tabs for 2.  Then just the prenatals. Even though I was sedated, I still felt a lot of it and am still slightly uncomfortable today.  All in all, 32 eggs were retrieved!! 12 eggs were inseminated with ICSI. As of this morning, 11 have successfully fertilized.  We will know the quality of these tomorrow. She went over all the paperwork and procedures involved.  I am going to start on ovary suppression medication this month, and hopefully be able to start the stimulation medication next month.
