Boy what a difference 1 month makes! My babies are growing so fast!
Megan and Lucas continue to move more and more each day. Crawling is 100% mastered. They can pull themselves up on just about anything, even things without anything to grab on, like the sliding glass door. They are also moving along the furniture, transferring from sofa to table and experimenting with only holding on one handed. They both also like to walk while holding your hands. Megan also now has a new game she likes to play - chase me! If you tell her you are gonna get her she giggles, turns and crawls away for you to chase her. It is adorable!
Speaking of giggles, their "vocabulary" is expanding. They both babble constantly and sometimes think they may even be talking to each other. I have found them playing under the dining room table just talking and laughing with each other. It is priceless!
They still are a bit on the small side.....we have yet to graduate to 9-12 month clothes, but Megan may be moving on soon. I am not concerned as they are meeting all their milestones and then some. I think their size may help contribute to their mobility. They are in, out, up, down, through and under EVERYTHING!!
Mealtime is fun! Megan and Lucas will eat just about anything! They are graduated to exclusively table food with bottles in between. They have also finally mastered the sippy cups, with quite and amusing learning process. Lucas LOVES fruit, especially blueberries and raspberries. He is not so fond of oatmeal. Megan really likes fruit too, but not nearly to the degree of excitement that Lucas does. She is much more of a girly and neat eater. She doesn't like tomatoes...just like her mommy. We might try to start milk here in a few weeks.
Sleeping is still going well. They sleep about 12 hours a night and still take 2 naps! I am so blessed to have good sleepers!
We are starting to think about themes for their first birthday. Any ideas?
