Every month that goes by is going by too quickly! I can't believe how big they are getting and how much their personalities are developing.
Lucas continues to be our laid back guy for the most part. He has mastered rolling and is a wiggly guy. He rolls all the time and we cannot leave him un-attended anywhere that is elevated. He still can entertain himself pretty well and love playing with his toes. He is tolerating the exersaucer more. He now has both his bottom teeth poking through and chews on everything! His favorite toys are the link rings and a stuffed octopus that Grandma and Grandpa Barker got them. He continues to be a talker and will sometimes wake up in the middle of the night and just talk to himself.
Megan is becoming more easy going, but still likes to be entertained and is a people-person. She can still roll, but doesn't roll nearly as much as Lucas. She would prefer to be vertical. She loves standing up with help and sitting in your lap. She also loves her exersaucer. She plays and bounces in that thing for what seems like hours. She also loves jumpers. Grandma and Grandpa Bartman have one and she loves it. We need to get one at home! As much as she like to be on her feet, she may just skip crawling and move right to walking! Her favorite toys are stacking cups (no stacking, just chewing!) and crinkle books. She is also lose a bunch of her hair. She has the typical "rub-spot" on the back of her head, but has started losing the hair on the sides and it is thinning on top. She still has more than Lucas, though!
Both kids have been sick for a couple weeks. They both have snotty noses and coughs. And to top it off Lucas has an ear infection. They both seem to be getting better, but the other day Lucas' voice went hoarse. It is so sad to hear him try to "talk" or cry and nothing comes out! I am sure this is just one of many shared illness we will endure!
The are both much more attentive. They notice when you walk in and out of a room and follow you every movements. They even notice the dogs now too and have gotten several kisses from them! We are now eating solid foods twice daily with cereal and veggies (carrots and sweet potatoes) in the morning and cereal and fruit (apples and pears) in the afternoon. I am making the baby food myself and love knowing that my kids are getting fresh food with no preservatives and all the nutrients.
Next month....6! Holy Cow!

Libby and Reagan STILL play with the stacking cups. You should buy another set because they will lose some of them and get mad about it.
