Okay....so we missed 8 months......and on to 9! How time flies! Megan and Lucas are 3/4 of a year old. Where does the time go? The past 2 months have flown by and the kids have grown so much!
Lucas is the same smiley and giggly boy he has always been, but now so much more. Megan is now joining in on the fun and will giggle right along with him. They both are beginning to show much more emotion as well. They both will quickly let you know when they are upset. They both have great sets of lungs!
In the past 2 months, they have both gone from scooting to commando-crawling, to crawling to, most recently, pulling themselves up. They pull themselves up on everything from their cribs to the couch to, baby gates to our legs. Lucas is even starting to move a bit around furniture. They both do great with "walking" when holding their hands. They will really be walking in no time.
Lucas is always on the move! He goes from one activity to another and is such a busy body. Megan is more content, just doing one thing, but is slowly starting to be more busy. They both like to play with the same thing.....at the same time of course. Redirection is key!
Mealtime has become fun as well. They are both expressing their independence and some days will have nothing to do with being fed and only want to feed themselves. They don't have the use of utensils down, but finger food is great. We have had grilled cheese, PB&J, canned veggies, chicken, pasta and just about anything we have eaten ourselves, in bite-size pieces. They are surely not starving!
On that note, here are their most recent stats. They are doing well according to the doc, but of course, she would like them to be a bit bigger, but they are meeting all their milestones, so not too much concern. Lucas has another ear infection, #4. One more before a year old and we will have a visit with the ENT.
